Information You Submit
Text entered into a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that supplies those results. We do not save a separate search history on our servers. A message sent to us includes the details you choose to provide, which are used to answer the inquiry.
Automatic Technical Data
Ordinary hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, visited page, and time of access. Aggregated logs help maintain the service, diagnose faults, and show which resources are useful. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How Information Is Used
Technical and submitted information is used to run the site, respond to messages, repair errors, assess traffic, and improve content. We do not sell a visitor list or create personal profiles of individual readers.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to South San Francisco offices, San Mateo County portals, California agencies, libraries, courts, and outside search services. Information entered on a linked service is controlled by that service's policy. The same rule applies to sponsored results, which an independent provider delivers.
Limited Data Disclosure
Hosting and support vendors process logs for site operations. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the technical data described above. Information may also be disclosed in response to valid legal process. Visitor data is not otherwise shared by us.
Security and Retention
An encrypted connection protects data in transit. Server logs are kept only for as long as the operational purposes above require. Since the site has no visitor accounts, it does not hold user passwords or account profiles.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor appears to have submitted information so it can be removed.
California Privacy Choices
California residents may have access, correction, deletion, and other rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. The California Privacy Protection Agency also operates the Data Broker Registry and DROP deletion system under Civil Code section 1798.99.80 and related law. Use the Contact page for a request concerning our mailbox or logs. Records held by South San Francisco, San Mateo County, California, or a court remain under the custodian's control and are not erased by a data-broker request.
Policy Revisions
A revised policy will appear here when practices change. Use of the service after publication of a new version indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
